The Changshu section of G524 highway made the 2025 list of “Beautiful Road Projects” recently released by the China Highway and Transportation Society.
As a model project for the deep integration of transportation and tourism, the 46.38-kilometer-long road between Suzhou and Nantong runs through Guli Town, Xinzhuang Town and Shajiabang Town with rich cultural and tourism resources such as the Yushan Hill National Forest Park, the Shajiabang Scenic Area, and the Shanghu Lake Scenic Area.
