Recently, the “Sound of Jinji Lake” instrumental concert was staged at the Jinji Lake Concert Hall to welcome the arrival of 2025. The concert brought together nearly 1,000 students from more than 20 primary and secondary schools in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) who gave wonderful performances on both Chinese and Western music instruments, presenting the audience with an amazing audio feast.
As an annual brand activity of the SIP Education Bureau, the “Sound of Jinji Lake” concert has been successfully held at the Jinji Lake Concert Hall for 6 consecutive years. It has become an important platform to display the achievements of local schools in art education and the musical attainments of teachers and students in SIP.
This year’s concert, which consisted of three chapters, was unveiled with the passionate performance of the classical symphonic work “Carmen Overture” by young musicians from SIP Jinji Lake School.
In recent years, the SIP Education Bureau has implemented a series of measures to support art education at local schools which have carried out a rich variety of themed activities on campus to increase the role of art in students’ lives. Continuous efforts will be made to enhance art education to better the minds and hearts of the younger generation.
