The World Brand Lab is the leading independent consultancy of brand valuation and marketing strategy in the world, with experts and consultants from the world’s top universities and research institutes. Since 2004, it has released the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands list for 21 consecutive years, which has gained worldwide recognition. The World’s 500 Most Influential Brands is judged on the basis of a brand’s global influence. Brand influence refers to a brand’s ability to develop and capture markets and make profits. Based on three key indicators of brand influence, namely market share, brand loyalty and global leadership, World Brand Lab tracked more than 8,000 leading brands around the globe this year to pioneer the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands list.
Three of the five Suzhou brands selected this time are from Wujiang District. Hengli Group, which is committed to creating an internationally renowned brand, has achieved remarkable results in technological transformation and brand cultivation, boasting more than 1,600 patents and independent intellectual property rights. Shenghong Group has strived to gain increasing brand influence, having a bigger market share, stronger brand loyalty and greater global leadership. Adhering to the innovation-driven development strategy, Hengtong Group has seized the opportunities brought about by the global energy revolution and strived to form competitive advantages by developing core technologies with independent intellectual property rights.
